Here are key areas where you can directly contribute value. You will:
- Evaluate new business submissions and renewal applications, ensuring they align with company underwriting guidelines.
- Handle policy issuance, manage daily workflows, and maintain exceptional service standards.
- Interact with customers and company underwriters to resolve service issues and provide quotes.
- Contribute to team goals by writing Standard Operating Procedures and suggesting innovative ideas.
- Interact with customers and company underwriters to resolve service issues and provide quotes.
- Provide backup support to colleagues as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of insurance.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One to three years of related experience.
- Commercial P&C underwriting experience is preferred but not required.
